The White Lake area is incredibly beautiful this time of year.
Especially in October, when the leaves are just starting to reach their peak changing colors, the splendor of reds and golds is something you definitely won’t want to miss.
We hope you can find time to enjoy the beauty of the fall season in White Lake this year. Certainly, the best way to do so is with the Depot to Depot Fall Color Tour.
Let’s take a look at what this year’s tour has in store!
What Is the Depot to Depot Fall Color Tour?
While you can always make your own fall color tour by simply driving, biking, or walking wherever the wind takes you, West Michigan offers the unique option of a pre-mapped route.
This is the Depot to Depot Self-Guided Fall Color Tour and Contest
Now in its 17th year, the tour links White Lake and Muskegon by taking you from the White River Light Station in Whitehall to the South Pierhead Light in Muskegon. You’ll travel along the most scenic stretches of West Michigan roadway. And with your map at your side, you’ll be able to stop at your leisure at designated natural and historic sites. The tour is sponsored by the visitors bureaus of White Lake and Muskegon.
