Buddy Popps in Concert

As part of the Summer Ain’t Over Yet concert series put on by Harbor Light Credit Union, Buddy Popps will be appearing in concert at the brand new gazebo in Goodrich Park. Bring your own drinks and snacks and come see Buddy play a great set! Proceeds from this event go to the White Lake Food Pantry.

The Corn Potato String Band – Howmet Playhouse

The Corn Potato String Band will perform Saturday night at Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall, just a few minutes from our lakeside inn. Each member of this three-player group is a multi-instrumentalist, and together, they fuse traditional fiddle with guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass and voice to create beautiful ballads typical of the Central and Southern US. Antiquated styles are their specialty, so if you’re a fan of country rags, ho-downs and southern gospel, this concert is a must!

Bearded Ladies Men in Concert

Playhouse: A Centennial Celebration Show!

Congratulations are in order for our local playhouse! The Historic Howmet Playhouse in Whitehall is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and they’re celebrating with three nights of festivities. An original play and music by Kimberly Harsch and Bill Iddings will be performed each night and will feature a wealth of local talent. Come join the fun and celebrate this momentous occasion for the Howmet Playhouse.

West Michigan Symphony Presents: Heroes and Villains

6-Acre Corn Maze at Lewis Farm Market
Lewis Farm Market is a must visit if you have little ones, and fall’s the best time to go. Opening day for “Grandpa’s Corn Maze” is Saturday, September 3rd and it’s always a blast. Each year the maze is brand new!

Montague Farmers’ Market
Each summer and fall, the Downtown Development Authority oversees the Montague Farmers’ Market at the corner of Water and Church. Come and shop the bountiful selection of fresh produce, baked goods, honey, maple syrup and other local products that the market has to offer! These items make great treasures to take home from your vacations—and excellent gifts!

Muskegon Irish Music Festival

Whether you’ve got Irish blood coursing through your veins or not, Muskegon’s Irish Music Festival is a guaranteed fun time. Now in its 17th year, the festival has four covered stages, all with lineups of top quality Irish entertainment. Come to hear the traditional music or take part in the limerick contest! There are even venders selling Irish creations and gifts and activities for the kids. While you’re there, be sure to enjoy a pint and some authentic Irish soda bread or fresh baked pretzels too!
